Andrew Maline Jr.

Andy was born on November 4, 1948. He was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to Andrew Maline Sr and Angeline Maline. As a child, his family moved to Wisconsin. While in Wisconsin, he joined the U.S. Navy, married and worked at Godfrey. In 1989, his life changed. While on a Camping Retreat, he was hit head on by a drunk driver almost losing his life, but God had plans for Andy. Due to his disability, he moved his life and family to Las Vegas, Nevada and started a job with the Boy Scouts of America. Due to the severity of his injuries, Andy had to find a new career path and decided to pursue his degree in Political Science and started to serve on three sessions with the Nevada legislature as a lobbyist. Since that wasn’t enough to fill his plate, he also started to work for Signature Homes around the early 90’s. From that exposure, he found a passion to help people and decided to open his own business called Local Perceptions, doing public outreach for zoning changes for local developers and worked on land development while owning a real estate company, 1-2-3 Realty. He continued to help with the sale and purchase of residential homes and commercial properties. If you knew Andy, he liked to stay busy. Some might have called him crazy, but his family called him ambitious. Andy, decided to open an automotive service center and called it 1-2-3 Automotive. While keeping his Real Estate license, he then closed both of his real estate companies and worked as a broker/manager at One Cap Realty, Broker/salesperson at Century 21 several different offices, Realty One, and Key Advantage Realty. Andy FINALLY retired last November. Andy, even after retirement, couldn’t sit around and do nothing. He also took on a part time job as a Range Safety Officer at Desert Sportsman Club. Andy may not have been perfect but was a loving, kind and funny man. He loved his Green Bay Packers (GO PACK GO), the Golden Knights and loved going on vacation. Over time, those vacations took a tole on Andy and eventually he had to stop because he always ended up with an illness. Andy loved his family, his dogs but most of all he loved God. He was a devout Christian. He wasn’t a singer like Vickie but in this church, he sang. He gave a devotional on a Wednesday night and had prepared to do another devotional but due to his unfortunate decline in health never made it back to reading those to you. In 1999, he married Vickie. He often called her the Guardian Angel for the Maline Family. Andy has a son, Scott who lives in California. A daughter, Michele, who lives in Wisconsin and a stepson, Nathan who lives in Las Vegas.
