Dorothy Love

~Obituary~ Dorothy Lee Love passed away on Sunday July 28, 2019 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born December 25, 1949 in Lake Providence, LA. She was the 14th of 14 children born to Ezekiel and Annie Love. Dorothy grew up in Louisiana and received a formal education in the Louisiana Public School System, upon graduating from high school she later relocated to Las Vegas, NV. Where she worked as a receptionist with Pam Am, she later became a cashier for Smith’s Food King. She went on to marry Paul Andrews Sr. to this union two sons were born Paul Jr. and Keithan Andrews. Later on she married Leslie Jones to this union one daughter was born Kenya Jones. Dorothy accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Southern Baptist Church where she served faithfully in the Choir, Sunday School Committee and many more organizations. She was an active member for over 30 years and a woman of great faith, she studied her Bible day and night, diligent in serving the Lord and telling of his Grace and Mercy. She was loved by everyone around her she will be remembered for her dedication, unconditional love and her unintentional funny sense of humor. Dorothy could keep a room full of people laughing without even trying, she was a loving and dedicated mother and granny, she taught us all to read the Bible love the Lord and love each other. She will truly be missed. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel and Annie Love, sisters: Jewel Rhodes, Ollie Mae Holden, Dottie Gean Thomas, Marjorie Love, brothers: Luther Curtis Love, Chapel Love, Ezekiel Love Jr., Jasper Love, Wilson Edward Love, Lonnie Love and Levester Love. She leaves to cherish her memory three children Paul (Dinora) Andrews, Keithan Andrews and Kenya Jones, five stepchildren Linda (Charley) Thomas, Gary Jones, Lolita (Charles) Holloway, Angel Jones and Anthony Jones, fourteen grandchildren Paul Jr. (PJ), Ashley Sharp, Ebony Andrews, Leslie Sharp, Gabrielle Rosas, Charlita Dixon, Brittney, Emmanuel Holloway, Tommy Green, Raven Hartwell, Charley Thomas Jr., Gary Jones Jr., Devyn Evans, Joshua Jones and Anthony Jones Jr. twelve great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
