Jennifer Christine Green

Jennifer Christine Green was born at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, California to the union of Mr. Michael and Mrs. Vera Jennings on September 25, 1979. Proceeded her in death her beloved brother, Kirkum Youker, Grandmothers Christine Jennings and Dorothy Youker, Grandfathers, Alonzo Jennings Sr., and George Francis Youker. Jennifer graduated from Kennedy High School in Sacramento, California in 1977. Where she attended college at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) studying Psychology. Jennifer met DaMarlo Green in July 2000, where they went on to get married on August 25, 2005. During their beautiful union was the birth of two sons, Dana K. Green - April 22, 2004 and Dior K. Green - September 17, 2007 and their honorary daughter Ky-Aujah R. Green. Jennifer worked for Tiffany & Company from October 1998 - February 2023, whereby she tenured 24 years of dedicated service, with a host of career titles within the company ending in management. During her service time at Tiffany & Company, Jennifer was a huge advocate in education and community. She wanted to ensure that she puts her children in the best position possible so that they can be successful in life and give back to their communities. Following this life philosophy Jennifer became a member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc, - Las Vegas Chapter in 2013, where she served as Program Director, Protocol Chair, Chaplain and Teen Advisor. Jennifer loved everyone she came in contact with, she knew no strangers. Her smile was infectious and warm. Jennifer had a host hobbies which included, reading specifically books on gems, astrology, and African American studies, she loved scrapbooking, crocheting, solving word puzzles such as Sudoku, watching true crime documentaries, cooking for her family and friends in which her speciality was Cajun/Creole cuisine. As well as hosting family and friends for holidays in which she created new traditions that her friends and family will continue in her honor. Jennifer leaves to cherish her memories, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Vera Jennings, her loving husband, DeMarlo Green, her handsome son's, Dana K. Green (19) aand Dior K. Green (16), her honorary daughter, Ky-Aujah R. Green (29), her loving and special grandmother who was also her caregiver and best friend during her battle, Ms. Rosetta Green, her sister Michele Jennings, her Jack and Hill of America, Inc.-Las Vegas Chapter family, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, longtime friends, and co-workers. Jennifer will certainly be remembered for that beautiful and warm smile, her contagious laugh and loving calm spirit. In the words of her husband DaMarlo Green, Jennifer will be remembered as "The greatest soul, FOREVER!"
