Martha Fay McCullah Bell The Life of a Servant “Now Jesus loved Martha…” John 11:5 On November 22, 1948, in Emerson, Arkansas, L.C. and Cora Glover welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family. Just like Martha in the bible, she was destined to serve others. One of nine children, she grew up surrounded by a loving and happy family unit. In 1955, Martha moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she attended Madison Elementary School, and graduated from Rancho High School. Her incredible intellect landed her a position in the bank where she eventually became the Bank Manager. Her exceptional work ethic spanned 30 years, and she retired from Bank of America. On March 25, 2002, God blessed Pastor Ronnie E. Bell with a help meet in the person of Martha. Together they parented two children, Marvin L. McCullah, and Miracle Siaosi Bell. A devout believer in Jesus Christ, Mother Bell was a longtime member of the St. Paul Church of God in Christ. Here she served under the late Bishop Carruth and Mother Loyce Hall. Always willing to serve and help God’s people, she was a faithful, loyal and valued member. “She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth her hands forth to the needy.” Proverbs 31:20 Always using her gift of helps, she served in two Non-Profit Community Development Corporations; Men of Faith Ministries Incorporated and Unlimited Source Outreach, Incorporated. Through these two ministries, she undergirded over 3,000 men, women and children leaving a legacy of good works. On October 20, 2020, the great helper’s hands were stilled. Martha, who had served the Master well, entered into rest from her labor. “Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” Proverbs 31:31 Awaiting her in eternity are her parents; five brothers; Winston Glover, James Glover, Donald Ray Glover, Jerry Don Glover, and Theotis Glover; and one sister Mother Betty Foger. Holding in their hearts precious memories are her husband, Ronnie E. Bell; son, Marvin L. McCullah; daughter, Miracle Siaosi Bell; Two brothers, O.C. Glover and Larry Glover Jr.; Three grandchildren, Marvin McCullah Jr., Tierra Woodward, and Markysha McCullah; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden Woodward and Izzy Woodward. Martha was also blessed to have a very special, lifelong friend, Mrs. Regina Porter.
