Obituary A Precious one from us has gone, A voice we love is stilled, A Place is vacant in our home, That never can be filled. Sister Mary Green was the only child born to the late Baby Ford and Silvia Gray in Marshall, Texas on June 19, 1931. Sister Green confessed her faith I Jesus Christ at an early age. She received her formal education in Marshall, TX. She attended Bishop College when she received a B.A.degree. Sister Green moved her family to Las Banos, CA. Sis. Green married Mr. Loudolph Power, and from this union two sons were born, Loudolph Power Jr. and Waylane Power. Mary later married Mr. Rodney Green, and from this union they had one son, Roland Green. Mary was an educator for over 30 years. She taught school in Marshall, TX, New Mexico, and Arizona, on the Indian Reservation, Los Banos, CA, and a few colleges. In addition to being a teacher, she was also a nurse, a member of the Delta Sigma Sorority and many other organizations. After retirement, her health began to decline and she moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2004 to be closer to her son. Sister Mary was proceeded in death by her two sons and her husband. She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Roland Green of Las Vegas, NV, friends, students, and a host of grandkids and cousins.
