Nadine Renada James

Nadine Renada Janes was the youngest child born to the union of John and Gloria James on January 9, 1981. As a child, she was the apple of everyone's life. Nadine was a beautiful and inquisitive person who had to figure things out fir herself. She would always push boundaries just to see how far and how much she could get away with. Nadine was a adventurist child who jumped in eight feet of water and amazingly was able to swim from eight feet to three feet almost giving her parents a heart attack. She was a very artistic young lady with many talents. She has an amazing talent for hair and nails. Nadine was a child prodigy who could play the piano at the age of two, and was one of the main lead soloist in the youth choir at Moments of Miracle Deliverance Center. Nadine lived her life unapologetically and to the fullest every day. She did not live her life based on "society norms" but on her own terms and beliefs. Nadine loved her family and friends. She would host family Sunday dinners, get-together's, and outings. Nadine had her struggles, but she genuinely had a heart of gold. She never missed a day of saying "I Love You" to her daughters, family, and friends. At family gatherings, she would be the baker, cook, and pseudo bartender making her own speciality drinks. She loved hanging out with the "heathen" group outside at family gatherings, laughing, joking, dancing, as well as playing dominoes and cards. Throughout the ups and downs in Nadine's life, she loved God. She redirected her life to Christ on February 6, 2023 under the leadership of Dr. Angela Goff. Anyone who knew her can attest that she would enlist everyone in her immediate proximity to pray with her. Sundays were Nadine's worship days; she would play Gospel music from the time she woke up until the time she went to bed, She would always say "God has been good to me." She leaves to cherish her memory, Four Daughters: Jaylen Seals (Will), Melody Gilkey (Andrew), Don'Trice Hall and Kathleen Hall; One Sister: Bettina James Lloyd (Chris); One Brother: Terrell (Sneak) McBride; Aunts: Esther Junior, Mabel Blair, Bertha Blair-Price (Ray), Loretta Blair (Kenny Jones), Patricia Blair-Hicks (Jesse), Vessie Velinda Gaines (Troy), Carolyn Ferguson, Savannah Lundy (Adrian), and Joyce Smith (Thomas); Uncles: Raymond Junior (Brenda), Michael Riley (Debra), Charles Smith (Elvira), Jesse James, E. Bingermon Smith (Valeria), Stephen Smith, Carl W. Blair (Tonya), Willie Blair Jr. (Angelica), Percy Blair Sr. (Clevoshonda), Charles Ray Blair, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A very special thanks to cousins Regina Carter, Aamira Williams, and Carmil Gregory.
