Valerie J. Harris

OBITUARY Valerie Jean Harris, daughter of the Betty Jean Harris and the late John Allen Colman, was born October 15th, 1961 in Las Vegas. Nevada. She attended the public schools of Clark County and was a proud graduate of Rancho Highschool in 1979. In 1982, Valerie became a resident of Meza, Arizona and started as micro-processor engineer for Intel Corporation. As she grew with the company, Valerie later became a data analyst for over 25 years. During her most vibrant years, Valerie had an entrepreneur spirit. She enthusiastically immersed herself in beauty and fashion as she became a licensed nail technician, masseuse, aesthetician, and designer. In 2004 Valerie moved back to Las Vegas, Nevada where she continued her work as an aesthetician and nail technician and had the opportunity to expressed her love for children when she became a care-giver. Valerie started out searching for her spirituality through many different religions. She was reared as Methodist in the First African Methodist Episcopal Church. Later in life she became a member of the Catholic church and remained Catholic for over 20 years. In the awake of her later years, she began searching for answers again. Her quest for more knowledge brought her to study with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her friends and family: Mother; Betty Harris, Sisters: Debra Harris (preceded her in death), Phyllis Irvin (Donald Irvin); Nieces and Nephew; Brione Mitchell (Cris Mitchell), Patrick Daniels (Jessica Green), Crystal Daniels; Patrina Smith (Earl Isaiah). Great nieces and nephews; Lailani Daniels, Keyonna Sherrod, Gabriel Daniels, Jeremiah Daniels, Ke’mari Macklin, Joshua Smith, and Ethan Isaiah. She was also loved by Jennifer Carter and her family Micheal Carter, Jayden Carter, Sean Carter, and Page Carter. *She was also known as Ms. Doubtfire. Valarie will be thoroughly missed by her family and friends for her forth-rightness, feisty-ness, fashionista, encouragement of all women, a teacher of self-love and positivity, and a true leader who motivated people to be the best that they can be.
