Linda Faye Lyons

The Beginning of a Beautiful Life Linda Faye Lyons was born on December 28, 1950 in Tallulah, Louisiana to the union of Elijah Henry and Hattie Stallworth who preceded her in death. Linda was sixth of eight children. Linda worked in the hotel industry for over 50 years. She began her career at the Hacienda Hotel, then transferred to the Sahara Hotel, Rivera Hotel and Tropicana Hotel. She retired from the Mandalay Bay as a Blackjack Dealer. Linda Lyons was one of the first Blackjack Dealers on the Strip. Linda accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at a very early age. She last served under the leadership of Bishop Dr. James M. Rogers. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Freddie L. Lyons on June 16, 1969 and together they lovingly raised three boys and one beautiful girl. She graduated from Western High School in Las Vegas, NV. She loved playing softball, fishing, attending Church and traveling from coast to coast. She is survived by her children; Reginald Marshall Lyons (Renee), Freddie Lee Lyons, Jr. (Kendra), Gregory Lee Lyons, Sr. (Tasha), Pamela Denise Lyons (Kevin) and Angela Stallsworth “Bonus Child“(Carol). Her brother; Lee Arthur Robinson and two sisters; Patricia Stallsworth and Regina Rayford (Kenneth). She also leaves to mourn 21 grandchildren, Raizgio, Dominic, Savannah, Mecca, Shanel, Reginae, Justin, Anthony, Robin, Foday, Karina, Ayoba, Trey “Hollywood,” Gregory, Jr., Diamond, Justice, Lyric, Alexis, Malik, Iymoni, and Treigh, and 22 great-grandchildren. Sister-in Laws, Bessie Stallsworth, Otistine Stallsworth, Shelby Lyons and Annie Mae Lyons. Brother-in Laws, Alvin Lyons (Shelly), Edmond C. Lyons (Margaret) and Willie Earl Lyons Sr. Special Friends: Geraldine and Richard Gilbert, Maryanne Nash, Brenda Page, Vickie Spann, Angela Smith and Laverne Patton. Resting in Paradise with Linda are her parents; Elijah Henry and Hattie Stallsworth. Her three brothers; Marshall Stallsworth, Curtis Stallsworth and Harrison Stallsworth, and one sister; Delores Stallworth-Prentiss. “I have fought the good fight.
