Nijaione Dajahn Watts

Nijaione’s Life Story Nijaione Dajahn Watts, affectionately known as “Doge,” was born on March 14, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Nikayla Yates and Antoine Dejuan Watts. From an early age, Nijaione radiated generosity, love, intelligence, humor, and an effortless coolness that drew people to him. He attended Clark County School District charter schools, beginning at Agassi Prep Academy and later graduating from Delta Academy. After high school, he continued his education at Dixie State University, where his entrepreneurial spirit began to blossom. Though he first pursued telecommunications with Cox, he ultimately discovered a passion for truck driving—one that inspired him to start his own company. A man of many talents, Nijaione worked in construction, served as a referral agent for One Stop Tax Preparation, supported local vendors at pop-up shops, and acted as a community liaison who helped prevent countless individuals and families from experiencing homelessness. His drive, determination, and compassion touched every endeavor he pursued. Nijaione was widely known for his pimped-out rides, infectious humor, and his affiliation with the T2G TRAINED.2.GO Car Club. If he wrapped his arms around you, it was almost guaranteed he was about to make you laugh or offer a business opportunity. He had a remarkable gift for sensing when someone needed help, comfort, or simply a moment of joy. Deeply family-oriented, he cherished time spent with his loved ones. Whether bringing life to a celebration, encouraging others to chase their dreams, or finding new ways to uplift those around him, Nijaione was always motivated by love and purpose. He was truly one of a kind, and his legacy will live on in the many lives he so beautifully touched. Nijaione was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Jones; step-grandfather, Ronald D. Sims; grandmother, LaWanda Yates; great-grandmothers, Evangelist Alma Yates and Josephine Tatum; great-great aunt, Bishop Emma Yates; and great aunt, Bishop Pamela Yates. He leaves to cherish his memory: his child’s mother, Alexes Walker; his son, Nijaione Watts Jr.; his father, Antoine Dejuan Watts (Charneice); his mother, Nikayla Yates; grandmother, Rita C. Sims; brothers, Nazari Yates and Keyun Watts; stepbrother, Bailey Ham; sisters, Nikiyra Yates, Nayonni Watts, and Alyxandrya Watts; stepsisters, Brooklyn Collins, Kiara Armstrong, and Kijhonna Hollins; uncles, Ahmad Yates, Randall Yates, Shekebe Yates, Mike Holmes, and Jason Sims; aunts, Ayesha Yates, Latasha Kennedy, and Monique Kennedy; great uncles, Michael Yates, Terry Yates, Buddy Yates, Clemon Braggs, Charlie Watts, and Darnell Tatum; great aunts, Michelle Yates, Annie Ruth Yates, Gina Jones, Audrey Johnson, and Tina Tatum; special cousin, Alex Camacho; and his forever-present and beloved Jocelyn Boston-Nelson—along with a host of nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever carry his love in their hearts.
